Officejet 6500A Plus model E710n give me a "paper Mismatch" error that I can't fix.

This error comes up every time I try to print.  All the paper sizes in the software programs are set to Letter Size and the paper loaded is 8.5 X 11.  I have tried to delete the printer, software and drivers; reloaded it and still the error.  There is no "ignore" selection on the error screen.  HP says this error is to save paper but I would rather be able to have it work correctly.

Hi there,

Try downloading and running the hardware diagnostic utility located here:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c02762272&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=4083977


It can fix a lot on its own and if not give a better idea of what is going on.
