All my HP printers have been reliable work-horses. The exception is my L7680 All-in-One. When I first bought it, one printhead came damaged. I called and called and called, finally, just ended up buying one for which I was never reimbursed. Now, after several months, the printer just stopped printing. 2" of printing, then pages and pages of garbage text. Online trouble shooting revealed only Mac problems with garbage text, but I'm PC so that's not helpful. I spent nearly an hour online with tech support in India. After many reboots, power on and off, wiping this and moving that, my printheads were "damaged or missing." I just broke down in tears and kept asking to speak to a supervisor. Tech support kept trying to convince me that "now we've discovered the real issue." I think he was just steering me into difficulty, especially after he said "you just take your sweet old time." I just spent $172 on new printheads to print out an 11-page fax that came in while I was troubleshooting. My husband insists we're buying Epson or Canon next time. Pity, huh? In summary, if you buy a L7680, just be prepared to keep replacing the printheads.
