Option chosen in Printer Preferences works once. Then reverts to prior option. How to fix this?

Hi. I want my multiple page documents to be printed so that Page 1 comes out on top, and the rest of the pages are in order. When I go into Printer Preferences , Advanced tab, I can change the "front to back" to "back to front" and get my desired result. But that printing order lasts for only  one print job. Then it reverts to "front to back." 

 

Is there a way to set the Preferences to that the "back to front" is the default setting??

Hello mbj130,

 

To set default settings in the driver click on Start and go to Printers&Faxes (Windows XP) or Devices and Printers (Windows 7). Right-click your printer and select Printing Preferences. Apply the settings you want and then click OK. Now the default settings will be the ones you've just selected.
