Photosmart 6280 carriage jam problem

I have watched everything HP has to offer to try and fix this problem - but to no avail.  I am at my wits end - I am about ready to set this thing on a post and blow it all to hell.  I have replace all of the cartiridges and taken it apart and there is nothing that would jam the carrage - it moves freely and seems like all is ok - except it just won't do anything except come up with that stupid message - Carriage Jam - I am pretty sure that it is just flat broke and there is nothing that there is left to do but go buy someone else's printer - I will never buy another HP product as long as I live - this is my second 6280 after the first one they sent me went belly up. If anyone has any other ideas about how to fix this piece of junk I would sure appreciate it.  Thanks
