Ok, thank you! You got me through step 1. Now I've tried the WSW and keep getting the following message:
The settings have been saved successfully. However, communication between the browser and the printer has been lost.
To reconnect, make sure:
- The computer and the printer are on the same network.
- The printer's IP address is correct. Open a new browser window, and then enter the printer's IP address.
Tip: To obtain the printer's IP address, print the network configuration page. Also, you might be able to view the IP address from the printer's display. For more information, see the documentation provided with the printer.
I've checked the IP address and the computer and printer are most definitely on the same network. I've restarted the computer, no luck. Any ideas? Again -- I'm on a Mac.

ewmark,
I have a couple of questions for you to make sure I'm clear.
Where you able to complete all 6 steps listed above?
If so where you able to go through the wireless setup wizard on your printer?
Also if you were able to complete steps above and go through wireless setup wizard it’s possible that the printer's IP address has changed. Confirm the printer's IP address by going to the front panel of the printer and selecting the wireless icon on the printer.

I did all the steps you outlined and it worked. The printer is connected to the network as is my computer. In fact I just successfully printed something from my computer wirelessly.
I'm trying to use the scanner, however, and when I try to "scan to computer" it can't find my computer. So I'm using the WSW to enable scanning and it keeps giving me this error message:
The settings have been saved successfully. However, communication between the browser and the printer has been lost.
To reconnect, make sure:
- The computer and the printer are on the same network.
- The printer's IP address is correct. Open a new browser window, and then enter the printer's IP address.
Tip: To obtain the printer's IP address, print the network configuration page. Also, you might be able to view the IP address from the printer's display. For more information, see the documentation provided with the printer.
