Photosmart C309g - will not print black

I have a photosmart C309g printer that will not print black.  I have replaced all cartridges, intalled a new printer head, conducted all diagnostics and print head cleaners.  I also cannot get it to align.  I see on line many people have the same problem but as yet have not found a solution that works for me.  Thanks for any help.

Hard Reset – While printer is powered ON, pull

the power cord from the printer then from the

wall. After 30 seconds reconnect power to

wall and printer. This will trigger a ‘dirty power

up’ and restore the printer to a known good

condition (if it is possible). No user settings

are lost with a ‘hard reset’.
This ‘Hard Reset’ is one of the most powerful

tools to use when the printer hardware is not

functioning properly!

 

if not resolved try this:

 

While printer is powered ON, pull

the power cord from the printer then from the

wall. on the printer conrol panel, press & hold # key and 9 key,while holding both keys down...reconnect power to

wall and printer.

 

if not resolved printer is defective...by the way are all cartridges genuine HP? are you getting any error message when you print?
