I have a HP Photosmart C6380 All in One printer. It won't print anything, anymore. It goes thru the motions but doesn't put ink to paper. I have replaced the ink cartridges. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software. I was told this is a known "glitch" with this machine but since it's out of warranty, I couldn't ask HP before. How do you fix this problem? I love the printer and can't afford to buy a new one. I'm running an HP Media Center PC m7470n with Windows XP (no network). Thanks

I could not download the diagnostic material, message states Internet error.
I have been trying for five days to get this problem with the error messages solved, by requesting help from support at least 6 times but no replies.
I spent 3 hours today on the ask the experts forum.

Throw it away and get something else. Even if you get this issue resolved something else will go wrong. These printers have problems and HP just hopes they will make it through the year of their warranty and then force you to buy another. I had a Canon for 6 years before the feed stopped working. I had my 6380 for 15 months. My 720 for 13 months. Both died and I was left holding the bag.
