Printer copies, but will not print from computer.

HP All in one Printer F4280

When cheicking for problem, I found it says, "Printer Offline." If this is the problem, can't find how/where to change. Have checked connections, Tried the fix -it 'thing', said it couldn't find anything to fix. It seems not to get the message from the computer that it is supposed to print. docs just stack up in the q.

Thank you for your reply. I finally solved the problem before I received your reply, but I appreciate the effort. An installed device disabled my printer, though the only message was that it was offline. Later, I updated to Internet Explorer 9. It installed 'document writer' and disabled my printer. Problem was I couldn't even print the instructions without a working printer. I uninstalled Inernet Explorer 9. I didn't like it anyway. It idn't allow me to do what I wanted to do, but controlled too much. The page reminded me of Facebook's so called Timeline page. Too much scattered around over it.  I'm telling here what caused the problem in case it might help someone else. Thanks again.
