Printer does not turn on

After the printer goes to sleep the only way for it to start back up again is by unplugging and re-plugging the powere cable.

The on/of switch becomes un responsive also

Is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening

Hi,

 

Which printer do you have?  Depending on the printer, there are some firmware downloads that deal with power savings issues like you are describing.  Not all printers have the download so I'd need to know which printer you have to see if one is available.

Thanks for the link, but I do that regularly but I double checked again today and there are no updates for my printer.

Any other suggestions would be very welcome
