Printer error: paper mismatch

I'm getting a message that there is a paper mismatch when I print to the 6500 all-in-one.  I was printing successfully, then got the message and can't print anything. What do I need to do?

I had the same problem AFTER I had printed some custom sizes ( 4 x 6 cards, etc.) Aligning the printer head worked in getting back to normal letter sized printing. Thanks
