I have recently upgraded to Windows 7 and last week I installed a new colour cartridge. I followed the alignment instructions but when I click on done, it asks to do the alignment over again. Now everytime I turn on the printer, it prints another alignment page and asks me to re-do the alignment. It print fine when I can print something. Is there any way to bypass the alignment process?

It depends on which printer you have. One thing to note is that for quite a few of the PSC models (PSC 1210 and so on) you need to scan the alignment page after it's been printer.
See this document for some tips on what to do to solve alignment issues:

What operating system and what printer do you have? Have you received any errors prompting you to align the printer? What errors occur when you try to align?

I have an HP Officejet Pro L7500 and just changed the black cartridge. Every time I print something, it keeps printing a printer alignment page and saying it failed. I am unable to reset or fix the printer alignment. How do I get it to stop printing that page or reset ?
