Printing goes to fax in PDF

Hi,

I have HP Officejet 6500 All-in-One Printer - E709a and when ever I try to print the printing goes to fax and i have tried all the steps provided by the support, but still the issue persists.

I have mentioned the errors that I get after performing the steps suggested by hp support last night:

Current issues that I am facing with the printer is

Front Page Configures”, each and every time I open a program

HP Solution Center An Error occurred on removal and Windows immediately shutdown (too quickly to copy). On restart “Windows Configures Tray Apps etc

HP Customer Participation Program On restart, “Windows Configures Tray Apps etc

I was unable to connect the printer.  I retried many times even using a different USB cable (I do hear the sound of a device being connected), but on the installation window I get message Device not found.

While installing from the CD I get the options – Add a Device, Install More Software, HP marketing resources, Smart Deals, Configure Wireless Setting and Uninstall.

Did un-installation and reinstallation from the CD and followed all the steps till I get the error message “Front Page Configures”, which I skipped and the installation froze.

On Installation I have the same problems as you will see from Adobe. Even though I changed default settings from “Letter” to “A4” in Printer setting, in Adobe it shows as “Letter” worse still is it shows “printer” then when I choose > Change Settings > Advanced Settings > it shows Fax. Therefore I cannot change the settings or print from Adobe

Need help to fix this printer or I will scrap this printer

Will be thank full is i get a resolution for this issue.

Regards,
