I cannot print pictures in Windows Live Photo Gallery?

All other print functions are fine.

could you provide the community with a little more information to help narrow troubleshooting? Are there any error messages etc?

I have a HP Photosmart Premuin C310a printer running on an Acer Pc with windows 7 64 bit installed.

If I print from Windows Live Photo Gallery or any other photo software I have installed on my PC then the prints are very bad.  They have a green cast to them and they don't look like photos.

However, If i edit the photos then save them to a temp folder and drop them on the HP print gadget they print out great.

So why do I get bad photos when using this software and fine photos using the print gadget?

Hi there davey_mac,

We could try the route of troubleshooting the print quality but to be honest working fine in one program VS another sounds a lot like a software problem (corrupted driver etc). Try downloading and running the print and scan doctor located here: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c03275041&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en

It can fix a lot on its own and if not give a better idea of what is going on. Let us know the results.

The print and scan doctor didn't find any problems and printed the test page fine.

I don't get any error messages when printing.  The prints from the test page and diagnostic print page are good. If I use the apps on the touch screen and print photos from the web then these print fine.

It doesn't matter what software I use to print the photo from the PC that the problems occur.
