Printing on a DL envelope

How do you set the printer to print a message (using Word Art) on a DL envelope, please?

Printer is HP Photosmart Premium C309a

Word 7

Windows 7

Repeated paper mismatch messages; printing only accomplished in wrong direction on envelope when Print Preview showed it should print as intended.
