Problem printing in colour on my HP Photosmart C4480

I recently bought a HP Photo Print Cartridge 348. It went into the right hand ink cartiridge slot which normally take the Black cartidge 350 as it wouldn't go into the left hand slot

 

The problem is that now it only prints in black and white and there is a warningin the printer display saying "Print cartridge(s) missing ot not detected". I had discarded away the colour cartridge.

 

Quite dissapointed. I only bought the 348 as I wanted higher quality colours in my photo prints.

 

Can anyone please suggest a solution to this problem?
