Problem with Cartridge

Aamir Zia : I have an error "incompatible print cartridge[tri color]. I have new HP Officejet J4500 All-in-One Printer.

Marissa : As I was reviewing your details, I came to know that you are using Hp Officejet J4500 All-in-one printer and operating system as win xp.Am I correct?

Marissa : May I know have you changed the cartridges recently?

Marissa : Alrightm are the cartridges same that were shipped with the box?
Aamir Zia : I m using it till last day & it worked very fine

Marissa : Aamir, follow these steps.
Marissa : Unplug the power cable from printer when the printer is powered on and wait for 20 seconds.
Then, press and hold # and 6 while plugging in the power cord.
Continue holding until it displays Semi Full Reset message in the front panel of the All-in-One.

Aamir Zia : you mean I will do it same as you told with out cartridge?
Marissa : Yes, you are correct.
Aamir Zia : ok
Marissa : Once it is done please let me know.
Aamir Zia : it has done & now printer ask about languages
Marissa : Please select english
Aamir Zia : set location
Marissa : Please insert the cartridges when ask to do so.
Marissa : Please set locations accordingly.
Aamir Zia : I have set the location now it display "Close print cartridge access Door"
Aamir Zia : should I close the door
Marissa : Alright, please insert the cartridges
Aamir Zia : I have inserted.now should I close the Door?
Marissa : Yes, please lose it
Marissa : close*
Aamir Zia : sorry to say there is still same error
Aamir Zia : "incompatible print cartridge[tri color]".
Marissa : No issues, lets align the cartridges
Marissa : Load letter or A4 unused plain white paper into the input tray.

2. Press Setup on the All-in-One.

3. Then scroll using the down arrow key and select Tools then select Align print cartridge or Align printer.

Aamir Zia : sorry
Aamir Zia : No button works when it display the error
Marissa : Aamir, please be comfortable, do not worry
Marissa : Please take out the tri color cartridge from the printer and close the access door and let me know if the message on the printer changes.
Aamir Zia : Print Cartridge(s) missing or not detecting:[Tri-Color,Black]
Marissa : Now, please clean the copper contact of the cartridge with the lint free cloth
Aamir Zia : May I use tissue paper for that?
Marissa : Please do not use that you can use any soft and clean cloth
Aamir Zia : o.k
Marissa : I appreciate your cooperation and patience

Marissa : Aamir, please place the cartridge back to the printer.

Marissa : Alright, I regret to say that this is the hardware issue hence the printer will be replaced free of cost if it is in warranty

Have you tried installing a new tri-color cartridge? If not, then install a new tri-color cartridge and see what happens.

Can.t get rid of message non capitable print cartridge  cleaned cart, replaced cart cart is compatable
