Recently my photosmart C7280 shows paper type as 'HP Photosense Photopaper"

I have never heard of this and can not find it on the HP site. It says this the majority of the time, while it is usually plain paper. What does this mean, why is it there, and what do I do with it?

Hey gsmax. Sounds like your default paper type has been changed or the printer is auto sensing that you have photo paper in the paper tray. Here is some more information about the photo sensing technology:

Strangely enough I uninstalled and reinstalled the driver and now there isn't even the option for Photosense Photo Paper!?!? Now The problem is that I can not print on both sides automatically!  What next! lol

Try running the HP Print & Scan Doctor to see if it is able to find any driver issues. To me it sounds like you may have an issue with the print driver. If it does not resolve the issue, post back with any new details and we will continue from there.

I went through many uninstall, installs and the print and scan doctor. The HP Photosense Photopaper does not come up anymore, but it is printing colors properly now. I had some stuck papers and cleaned out the back and it seems to be working better,....so far.
