Squeaking while printing

Just yesterday my HP Officejet 6500A  starting squeaking like crazy. The printer works fine. I tried cleaing and putting a drop of oil on the main bar the print cartridge slides on, but nothing. But I pinpointed it's the cartridge. As I slid it across manually it made the squeaking noise. I bought it 11/30/11 from staples and the 30 days ran out to return it by 3 days to exchange it. Anybody else have this problem and how did you fix it? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I ran into this same problem, we tried using the oil and cleaning out as well but nothing changed. I would assume next step is to try with new cartridges.

Same problem.  Same printer.  Bought at the same time at the same store.  What gives?

Printer still works but I am using it for my business and waiting for it to break now.
