Static noises

Hey, I've got the Officejet 7310 All-in-One printer/scanner/fax/copier etc... machine on my desk.  My problem is that I'm getting static noises from some sort of speaker somewhere and they're driving me crazy.  Unplugging the ethernet connection and the computer connection do nothing.  The only thing that seems to work is unplugging the power.  I'm guessing since the machine is probably 6-7 years old that there is maybe dust causing problems somewhere but I have no idea where to look or how to get in and find it.  The noise sounds like it's coming from somewhere in the back-left of the machine and definitely from the inside.  Anyone else had to deal with this?  And, if so, any advice on fixing it?

Re: Static noises

Am experiencing the same problem with a Photosmart 2710.  I too, am looking for a solution to the problem.

Re: Static noises

I changed the channel on my wireless router and it is making the noises less.  I had hoped they would go away completely.
