Hi I have downloaded XP mode that runs on windows 7 professional.
wont install a printer would like to use Hp Deskjet 3050 a would thid be possible withwireless ?

Both the xp and windows 7 drivers are available here. This article should walk you through wireless setup.

Hello
The program I have is XP download mode virtual,as I already have the printer win 7,I had hp total care and I was told I couldn't use the printer on XP as it only supports one license.
I am being careful as the computer crashes last month ,may of deleted the wrong downloads

Just to clarify, what has only 1 license? Win 7, XP pro or the printer?

HI
printing on XP
I downloaded a driver for XP never solved the problem
Am I doing some thing wrong.The printer I am trying to install would be in Virtual XP mode so should I down load the XP drivers from XP not from Windows 7 Professional.
made a note of the download.
File description self extracting cabinet windows XP mode M/S date created 19/ 4 /12 469 mb

From what I understand of Virtual Windows XP mode in Windows 7, it should support connection to the printer through USB. That is not something we have tested or support, so I can't vouch for its functionality.
However, it does show Windows 7 drivers available here:
Just select which version of Windows 7 you have, and you will get a selection of drivers and/or software available. That would not need the Virtual Windows XP mode, but the software could be different.
