brand new printer just installed yesterday ...all the printing pages with a blue smear on left side of page

could you provide the community with a little more information to help narrow troubleshooting? Things like your printer model and your operating system help out a lot.

Happened with our new machine as well.  HP sent us a new, blue cartridge and problem disappeared.
