I agree.   When we installed Vista that's when the 820 stopped responding.  Same problem with Windows 7.  I'm running W7 Premium Home edition.  Printer was trouble-free with XP but failed to respond with Vista and 7.

The problem was with the 64 bits version of windows, since then they came out with a patch  to fix the problem, I installed it on my system win 7 64bits a few months back and it worked fine.
