Reset the product: 1. Without turning off the product, disconnect the USB cable from the rear of the product. 2. Remove the cartridges from the product. 3. Wait for the 'Insert Cartridges ' message to display on the control panel. 4. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the product. 5. Wait 60 seconds. 6. Reconnect the power cord. If the product does not automatically turn on, press the Power button ( ). 7. Reinsert the cartridges, and then close any open doors on the product. 8. If you receive a prompt to print a calibration page, do so. 9. Reconnect the USB cable to the rear of the product, and then try printing again. Thanks man. I have looked all over the net and these forums until I came upon your comment. I had the error code 0xc18a0206 for ink failure and it would show error on digital cards upon insertion. Gave you a kudos. You deserve more but I am a poor man.

Check out for the black sartridge and colour cartridge and face on the small circuit on it. Run smoothly with a piece of paper and also rub off the ink paste on the circuit. Then place it again on to the printer. Close the door tray. The printer will detected as normal.

I Have bought a used HP PhotoSmart  6183 All-in-one

Everything work, but I couldn't print or send fax etc due to error:   0xc18a106

I changed set of ink cartridges , but the error was still there

Any HELP PLEASE
