I have tried these instructions, but the printer cartridge will not stop in the middle for me to remove the cartridges. Any additional tips? Thanks!

Hi 022801,

Follow the steps below.

1. Remove the printer head and cartridges from the printer

2. Remove all the cables from the printer including the power cable

3. Leave printer unplugged for 1 to 2 minutes, and then make sure the power is plugged directly into the wall before plugging it back into the printer.

4. Reinstall the print head and cartridges when the printer asks for them.

Let me know if the error is still present?

Hi and good morning;

I have a E710n Model. I did try the reset in your last post. To give you an idea of what the machine is doing. As soon as I power it on it will go thought all of its normal functions. Carriage moving back and forth lining up with the encoder strip then moving to the left side and going thought the gear function (to ease the question of a popping sound during this motion. There is not a popping sounds) so it can set up the encoder wheel. Then it goes to service station. It cycles the service station twice and into it third cycle it stops to give the error code.

Thank you for your help;
