hp photosmart 7960 printer

i realize this is an older printer and i have upgraded to a C7280 but, i still use it occaisionall. the minimal software now available doesn't include a tool to determine ink volume or total depletion. can i get anythig to tell me volume? thanks a million k3

Go to this site and choose Your system. Download and install from there HP Photosmart Full Feature Software and Drivers.

I also have the HP Photosmart 7960 printer. I recently moved the printer to another computer running Vista and at that time went to the HP Support site and downloaded the latest driver and an update. Then I read this thread offering a "full office" driver. As indicated in the thread, I went to the link mentioned and saw the availability of a "full" driver; however, it appeared to be for another family of printers - an all-in-one I believe.

 

Is it true that I can use that "office driver" on my 7960? Must I uninstall earlier drivers? Anything else?
