need "hp director" app for hp 4215v series all-in-one,printer, fax,scanner. 

UPDATE #1:   WIN 8 beta on gateway PC. prints ok, haven't tried fax or scanner

I affraid the Director software for your product will not be available for Windows 8.

As you may find listed below, it was not provided for Windows 7 as well, So I doubt if any change will be made for Windows8:

Anyway, try following the HP Print Install Wizard for Windows 8 Consuemr Preview as described below:

Thank You Shlomi for an explicit response.  Per your instructions, I downloaded "install wiard" and it included a test for printer &* scanner.  Printer & scanner work ok in test.  Best to you in this endeavor.  tnx again.  gb1
