Sometimes when I print the whole page doesn't print--I will get either the top or the sides. How can I fix this?

Repeatedly, my OfficeJet 4500 All-In-One will only print the top 25% of a page. After I pull the plug on it a few dozen times it will work correctly again but only for a short time. I have tried all the diagnostics, cleaned the cartridges, etc, but nothing solves the problem Please help.

This sounds like a print job spooling or connectivity issue. How is the printer connected to the PC (wirelss or usb)?

Try a different driver to see if it is a driver issue.
1. Click Start, Control Panel, Printers
2. Click Add Printer, Select Local and remove the checkmark from auto-detect.
3. Select USBxxx (this should say HP) for the port
4. Select Deskjet 5550 from the list under HP.
Try to print and see if it can print the entire document.
