I've had my photosmart c6380 all in one for about two years and get great color prints on premium paper using the highest quality level in Adobe Elements. In the last week, high quality photos come out with tons on ink on them, so much that it smears all around, the image blurs before the ton of ink is dry and it looks like impressionist paintings. Color printing on regular paper is good, just now, printing out of windows explorer, print, normal quality printed fine. Something in the setting for auto detect paper or print quality is causing the print heads to spew ink. I've cleaned the heads, aligned the heads, Anyone have any ideas. HELP PLEASE. Using Windows 7 64 bit operating system, installed up to date driver for printer.

Hi there,
Try downloading and running the print and scan doctor located here:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docnam
It can fix a lot on its own and if not give a better idea of what is going on.
Best of Luck!
