printing envelopes on 8500A Premium?

I've been using a 7400 for years and envelopes were easy.  But tried it same way on the 8500A and it jammed the envelope and a sheet of paper, made a mess on day 2 of being installed.  I can't find instructions anywhere.  How do I do envelopes on it?

Beats me!  I cannot print either --  jams with another sheet of paper.  Have been looking everywhere for the answer --  there is no one.
