realign cartridges Toolkit

I've misplaced my Toolkit CD and need to realign the cartridges in my Deskjet 1000C.  Any help?  I am using WXP Pro, which has the HP drivers.

The Toolkit probably won't run in XP.  You could try downloading the Win95 drivers and use compatability mode to see if you could then access the maintenance menu.  Just make sure you don't install the 95 driver as the default printer.

I have used the toolkit before with XP.  I just can't locate the cd.  I do have the starter CD which also has the drivers, but I didn't see the toolkit on it.  I will try installing the drivers and see if the toolkit shows up. . .I was thinking it was on another CD, but its been a while since I used it.  Thanks for your response!
