Hello, I have a new PC - and it is Windows 8.
I previously had 7 and Palm to TX sync worked fine.
I had the 64 bit drivers from Acceca
I installed Palm Desktop 6.2 to new PC and then installed the Acceca 64 bit drivers for USB sync.
I "Run as Administrator" the Palm Desktop and Hot Sync Manager.
I have run the "Compatibility" Wizard on each of the apps.
This is a new PC
When Sync button is pressed, the Hot Sync dialogue box appears and the cursor stops spinning after 5 seconds or so.
The Blue Screen follows after 10 more seconds.
Palm Tech Support says they do not know why this happens, and have no suggestions.
Can somebody help?

Yours is the first post I have read here about Palm Desktop causing a BSOD.
One thing to try, in the event something didn't go properly with the installation, would be to do a Clean Uninstall of Palm Desktop, and try reinstalling it. Instructions for a Clean Uninstall are in a "stickied" thread near the top of this board. They only go back specifically to XP and Vista machines, though
