Tungsten T3
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My Palm Desktop v4.1.4 running on XP Pro SP3 is working fine and syncing fine with my T3.  But I must move to Windows 10 (64bit).  I gather that Palm Desktop v4.1.4 should run ok on Windows 10, but that there may be problems with syncing that with the T3.  There is mention of problems with hotsync.exe running on Windows 10.

I am aware of software by Companion Link that would sync Palm Desktop with a smart phone, although I do not know whether all of the fields in Palm Desktop would be represented on whatever software would be running on the smartphone, and I have read of using a bluetooth dongle to sync Palm devices with Palm Desktop running on Windows 10.  Transferring my organiser to my new OS is a key issue, and I do not wish to move to a smartphone at this time.

How may I use Palm Desktop and my Tungsten T3 on Windows 10 (64bit)?

I think this question resolves to: 1. What is the most recent version of Palm Desktop that will sync with a Tungsten T3; and  2.  Will that version or version 4.1.4 run on Windows 10; and 3.  How may I sync that version or version 4.1.4 running on Windows 10 with a Tunsten T3?

Any help would be much appreciated.

1.  Palm Desktop 6.2.2 will sync with your T3.   Get it here, in this thread "stickied" at the top of this board.  However, you need additional software, called PalmHotsyncSetup from www.pimlicosoftware.com ;

2.  Palm Desktop 6.2.2 runs on my computer(s) with Windows 10.

3.  Also download the Aceeca 64-bit USB drivers, which you can find at the "stickied" thread here also near the top of this board.

Thank you for your advice.  I would have replied sooner, but received no notification of your post.

I am afraid i cannot download the Aceeca drivers - possibly due their website being under reconstruction, and I could not find  PalmHotsyncSetup at Pimlicosoftware.com.  However, I think you are saying that if I install v6.2 ( I believe also known as v4.1.4E) instead of 4.1.4 I will be able to run palm desktop on windows 10, and that if I install the Aceeca drivers and PalmHotsynSetup on windows 10, I should then be able to synchronise my t3 with palm desktop on windows 10.  Is that right?

Are the links you provided up to date?
