2035 printer not printing correct

when i print a chart with small numbers the printer prints an asterisk in place of the number

Does the print preview also show this asterisk? The printer settings might be set to print characters below a certain font size with just and asterisk.

Is it possible that the font specified in the document is not available to the printer, and the small numbers are asterisks in the substitution font?

What size font is used? It may be too small for the printer to print. Try increasing the font size on one of the numbers and see if it prints. You can also try changing the font. If it is not a default Windows font, then the device may not be able to find a substitute that matches it and prints the asterisk instead.
