722c printer installed on WIndows 7 using ps2 to usb adapter but it doesnt print

I connected my Deskjet 722c to a ps2 to usb adapter and the windows driver installed which now shows in devices as USB printer but it doesnt print. Any suggestions

Do you have a 32 bit or 64 bit version of Windows 7?  If you have the 64 bit version you will need the patch available here.

Hi, I have 64bit. I applied the patch already and it still isnt working.

When I first plugged in the USB to my computer, windows installed  USB printing support which is shown in devices under unspecified. At this point my printer was not showing in the printer section so I went to device manager > add legacy hardware > and first tried the hp driver in windows for a 720c, then I applied this patch.

When this didnt work, I uninstalled everything and did this same procedure again but this time when I installed my printer from device manager, I used the browse button and selected a driver that I found somewhere here in the forum. Next I applied the patch again.

Both times while installing my printer I selected the USB001. I also tried LPT1, etc..

I should mention, the USB printing support device showing is using Port_#0001.Hub_#0002 as a location and also has no printer attached in the hardware section

In device manager there is several devices showing since my installation. See the picture below
