8500A loss of connectivity: other networks detected

We have an Officejet Pro 8500. We had succesfully set up the ePrint capabilities, made few scans directly to google docs through one of the apps module, and managed to print from multiple computers through the use of ePrint / Google Print. And then it stopped. It shows the printer as connected, and when printing a report everything is ok OTHER THAN the indication that "Other networks detected matching your network name (SSID)". 

We have tried the following: 

1. Resetting the printer 

2. Resetting settings back to factory configuration

3. Connecting to other wifi networks

4. Setting the wifi on and off

 

Nothing works. Help?
