I have a AIO 7310 that I use through the wired networking port. I have 2 computers that I have upgrade to windows 7 64bit (one Home, one Pro). On both computers, I have downloaded the full installation software, install everything and all it working well for a few days. Then out of nowhere, the printer vanishes from the computer. Printer is no longer in Devices->Printers (though the Fax is). Trying to start the HP software tells me that the printer is not installed and I should go through the setup.
The only way I've seen to fix this is to go back through the HP software and have it find the printer again. While the fix is easy enough, it's a major pain and I was wondering if anybody had any ideas on how to make the printer stick around permanently. This happens on both computers.
