INTERMITTENT PROBLEM but will not go away!

Have tried repeatedly to fix with & w/o HP tech support. HP Diagnostic progam errors out at Scan diagnostic.

 

HP Solution Center software does not acknowledge scanner, even when I am able to print. This happens at least once a week since the install last January.

 

Today it would neither scan nor print but could acess printer/scanner from another computer.

So I started running the HP diagnostics again. Think today's HP download UNinstalled the printer entirely HP diagnostics cannot locate it and the HPSC could not find the printer.

 

 What do I need to do to get the problem solved?
