Compatability between HP and Mac Computers

Will the HP 7515 e-AIO work well with my MacBook Pro running OS-X 10.6.8?

I installed software for my HP deskjet 6988 on my new MacBook Pro laptop to use on our home network. When I open the Photosmart Studio, it closes very soon after. The disc says for Mac OS X up to v10.5. Mine is OS X 10.7.3. Is there an update for the HP software to be able to use the Photosmart editing on my Mac? I really liked using it on my HP pavilion a250n.

The Photosmart 7515 is compatible with OS-X 10.6 so you should have no problems. You may get the latest driver from the following link:

The following article should help you setup your printer on your mac running 10.7. Photosmart Studio may not be included in the latest driver. You should still be able to print, scan, etc.

Thank you, I will try this. I did go to the HP site & got an upgrade but when I tried to install it, it was too large & computer didn't have space. Why an upgrade would be so large, I don't know.
