Error 0x0000007e trying to install lj1022 on network computer

I am trying to install a shared (USB cable connected, non-wireless)  printer to another Win 7 computer on the wireless network, and keep getting error 0x0000007e. I have tried to connect both as a network printer ("add a printer" sees the it) and local printer using \\computer\printer sharing name, but always comes up as Windows cannot connect. I have run registry cleaners, MS Firewall fixer, CCleaner, and  Malwarebytes on both Win 7 machines, but nothing seems to help.

I would appreciate any assistance to solve this problem.

Does the printer work correctly on each computer?

Yes, I finally got it connected directly on the other computer, but still get the same error when trying to connect on the wireless network.

Hi Lincmb1,

If the printer works on both computers before you try and print share them then you will need to contact Microsoft about the print sharing error you are getting.
