Error opening HP Solution Center

I'm new to wireless printing.  I had Geek Squad set up my wireless products, (new) 2 HP computers and a HP Photosmart C410a.  I went to another location and used their wireless access and printers.  Now when I get back home I can't get the link on desktop to open the HP Solutions Center so I can scan and print from there.  I am trying to scan some photos into my computer.  Remember there are 2 on the network.  I can print a web page directly from the page using the print icon on the toolbar.  I have reinstalled the software from the CD and from HP site.  Neither helped my situation.  I'm using win7.  I get the error code: "HP Solution Center cannot run because your device installation is not complete".  Then it tells me to find the HP help files from the start menu.  And I have used the HP diaganostic tools also, both of them.   I'm appreciative of all the assistance I receive.
