Error: reinstall photo & Imaging software

Vista 32-bit

 

Error:  The program cannot find available destinations to which you can send scans.  Please reinstall Photo & Imaging software to restore desination information.

 

I have reinstalled the device driver several times, from both the CD and the website.  Have also installed every relevant patch I could find.  Don't know what the "Photo & Imaging" software is.
