H.P Officejet Pr 8500A all-in-one paper feed doesnt work with Adobe

My paper feed doesnt work with adobe. It seems towork with other programs like word. This is one of the slowest and nosiy -est printers I have ever owened. I am let down for a professional line H.P. product. Any help to make this work correctly would be apreciated

I believe you have to set Adobe up for which tray to use.

 

Click FILE -> PRINT then click the Properties button beside your printer.  

In there somewhere should be which tray you want the program to use

 

Sorry - can't help with the noise.  I don't find it that bad to be honest - I've had much worse
