Recently upgraded to the HP 7510. Successfully installed it as a USB printer and then successfully upgraded it to wireless. The driver would always be asleep the next morning, rebooting would temporarily solve this but not as a long term solution. I ran several of the available diagnostic tools (HP Print Scan Doctor and the Trouble Shooting guide). All said everything was Ok for printing (scan - driver issue), until it tried to test print which failed.
The printer can see the internet throught the router and I can successfully "ping" the printer's IP address from the computer. Thus I believe the route to be good.
I used the uninstall script to unload everything and re-install and now it won't install. I can plug in the USB cable and get the driver loaded, but the normal install process doesn't even see the USB cable anymore. When I try to convert USB -> Wireless, it finds the printer and starts the install process but fails with "Unsuccessful Network Installation".
HP phone support was completely no help.
Anyone have suggestions.
Thx,
-dr

Hi dmreece,
Follow the steps below to uninstall and reinstall the printer.
1. Open Control Panel
2. Click on Uninstall a program
3. Uninstall the Photosmart 6510 from the list
4. Reboot your computer
5. Download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player
http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads
6. Download the full feature software and drivers, and then reinstall the printer.
