Hi
Long time reader, first time poster so here goes.
I have recently purchased an Airport Extreme Base Station to replace my existing NetGear Router. Primary reason for doing this is I wanted to be able to share my printer to other devices on the network.
After setting everything up I thought I was set to go when I noticed that whatever job I send to the printer it continues to print, not only that other jobs sent after the initial job won't print until the first job is cancelled. As you can appreciate this is becoming quite frustrating (and wasting a lot of paper).
OS System I am working off at the moment is Vista (as this printer I discovered is not compatible with Mac OS X). I have run Bonjour to set this printer up. Protocol: RAW - Port Number: 9101. Printer is connected via USB directly to AEBS (no hub).
Any assistance would be great because after a long internet search I have reached the limit of my skills.
Cheers

Hi tgersb,
If you just started having this issue when you changed to the AEBS I would hookup the old router to see if you continue to have the problem. If you don't have this issue with the old setup i would have to say that there is an issue with the new AEBS or the way it is setup. Let me know what you find out?
I would also make sure that the firmware is up to date.

Thanks for the reply. I'm out of ideas on how to fix it haha.
The old router didn't have USB port functionality so this is a new setup.
I will check the firmware first thing in the morning and get back to you.
Thanks again

Hi tgersb,
You may find the following document of some assistance with sharing your printer with the other computers.

Hi backward
I have updated the firmware and still no luck.
Your document on peer-to-peer sharing isn't really relevant as I will be sharing the printer via USB using the Airport Extreme.
I have tried to print from a number of machines running different OS systems with the same result - the document will print than remain in the print q until you delete it and in some cases even turn off the printer altogether.
Any other suggests how to fix this issue?

Hi tgersb,
It appears that the Airport Extreme is not allowing the jobs to pass through it. I would suggest calling the manufacture of this device for additional assistance.
