i have a HP F4180 all in one printer and a HP pavilion dv4 notebook .....the printer worked for my old homemade desk top wonderfuly before my son desided in had to be thersty and gave it a drink of his apple juice ( shockingly it lived for 6 months after that but the juice ate at the mother board over time) so leaves me using my back up notebook full time and the printer will not talk to it at all. i thought they would work well together due to the fact they are both HPs but the notebook knows there is a printer there and has all the drivers but will not print anything from the notebook ....i have no idea whats going on i cant switch out the usb cord and i scaned a document to check and see if the printer itself is ok and it worked fine but it wont get any data from the notebook and the notebook works with other printers fine as well ......so i am lost to what to do with the printer. HELP before my son desides it is hungery and needs some pancakes !!!!
