hi first of all in the first computer i had allways problems / every couple weeks it was out of service & i had to reset it to print
second of all, when i tried to cancel printing it doesn't and when i succeeded by chance, if i didn't pay attention it began to print at one time all the works whom have been sent to the printer (toners were wasted a lot without any need)
i tried now to change the usb entry and so on but nothing would work
the computer is completely new 1 month old
i had suffered enough with it and still wasting my time to get a quick but real solution
i really think that it's normal for a factory which has some honour to send me an other product and i'll give back this one

Hi duby,
I understand you are frustrated, but in order for me to better understand what is happening i need to gather additional information. If the printer is not under warranty then we are unable to replace the printer if it is having a hardware failure.
How long have you owned this printer?
Is the printer still under the 1 year warranty or did you purchase an extended warranty?
What make of computer are you installing the printer?
What is the installed operating system?
Have you tried installing it on a different computer to see if you get the plug and play when you plug the USB cable in?
Have you tried a new USB cable?

What is the issue you are facing?
What is the operating system on your computer?
Have you tried a new USB cable or USB port?

Hi,
It's the same issue as mentioned above. I uninstalled the software from my computer like a week back and today when I tried reinstallaling it, It comes to the point where it prompt's me to connect the USB and still after I've connected I don't get the "next" button. But it appears a message in the bottom toolbar "balloon" saying that the drivers has been installed. But the Software hasen't been installed at all.
the OS i'm using is Windows 7 (64 bit)

Hi,
I'm extreamly sorry for the deay.. well I tried to install it again (with a new cable) but this time the CD got stuck and the system was freezed, so had to "End task" it..but later I downloaded the Application "hp_LJ_P1005_P1505_Full_Solution_ROW" and tried installing and it worked

I see that several of you are having the same problem I am - I am reinstalling the printer and it gets up to the
'turn on the printer and plug in the USB - and then it gives me the option to go "Back" or to "Cancel"
I've installed and uninstalled this printer a number of times - if I have to clear the queue - it won't and the most efficient way I have found to deal with this problem - about twice a year - is to uninstall and reinstall - but this is a new glitch!
Did anybody get a solution?
