I appologize as I gave the wrong instructions for your particular printer. Check Add/Remove programs and uninstall (if it is there) HP Solution Center and HP Officejet 4622. Then try re-installing.

Sorry to tell you, Travis

But I uninstalled everything I could find & also deleted all the documents related to HP.

Then tried to install the driver (4622) & got the very same error code from the beginning of the first page !

Just for fun I decided to try & install the HP OfficeJet "pro" basic driver

it began loading fine & then switched to K5300/5400 series (?)

Then once again error code 1075 showed up

"print spooler stopped, dependency service does not exist"

Got any more clues/ideas I can try ?

I'm about ready to return this to the store I bought it from, but I've already got the ink cartridges installed, so they probably won't let me return it !

Do you have a relative or a friend which would allow you to test the printer?

It would help to isolate this issue to figure out the correct troubleshooting path to proceed with.

Just thought of something
I have my laptop with me.
If I go to HP's site & download the program where I'm staying (if they'll let me) onto their computer.....
What am I looking for to help you determine why it's not downloading on my computer ?
