Spoke to soon. Right back to the same Improper Shutdown messages. Anyone have a suggestion? Extremely frustrating.

This solution, # 6, really helped me out very much!  Thank you so much for your help, because I thought I would have to buy another printer - and - I just finished buying ink cartriges for this printer.

 

THIS WAS FANTASTIC for me.  I know others didn't experience the same thing, but it certainly helped me out.
