HP Photosmart C6380, Install of drivers fail due to Firewall Problem

Hi!

Error Code: 01558361

The following Errors is reported during install:

 Now launching=X:\hpzfwx01.exe -m installfirewallexceptionlist

-showui  -I XXX -f "X:\hpoins31.dat" -Validate No dat" -Validate No Windows Firewall-initialization failed

unable to initialise firewall, aborting plugin

Exit Code=1603

As you can see the install program is trying to configure my windows firewall and when it cant it fails.

I have tried enabling my windows firewall manually but all it does is it gives an error code: 6801 in the eventlog.

I have tried to get the firewall up and running (checked its dependecies in services.msc, all are running fine)

Havent been fiddling in the registry yet, since im not entirely certain how to go about it.

Running Windows Vista Service Pack 1 if that helps.

Any help would be appreciated as i would like my printer up and running for the weekend.

Seems i found the culprit..

It was the ESET antivirus program. Simply shutting down the firewall wasnt enough i had to completely remove ESET antivirus program,
to get the windows firewall to function again.

As sson as the windows firewall was ON, i could install the printer drivers.
