HP Photosmart C7280 Ink failure

Hi,

I got quite an annoying problema with my HP Photosmart C7280.

Since yesterday, when I turn it on I get an "ink failure" Error with code 0xc19a0027. I've already checked out all the Internet and tried out most of the suggested procedures, such as #+*+123+... but without any result.

After the mentioned procedure, for example, the error disappears but then when I try to print I get only a BLANK PAGE out, and if I switch the printer on, there the error comes out again.

Hope some of you had the same problem and could help out (some experts from HP is welcomed, since the printer is just 2 1/2 year old!!!).

I find it deplorable that this problem is mentioned countless places on the web, yet HP can't, or won't  give an answer that actually works!  I've tried all the different key combinations too!

Hi!  I agree.  I just got this same problem this past week.  My printer is only 2 to 2 1/2 years old as well.  What's up with HP not helping us out?

Typically an ink system failure is a printhead failure. On this model, the printhead is not replaceable, meaning that if it fails, nothing can be done.

If the printer is under warranty, the printer can be replaced. Out of warranty, there is nothing that can be done to fix the problem since the part that causes this problem is not field removable.

As far as HP not helping out... Aside from replacing under warranty, there's really nothing else that can be done to fix this issue.

Yeah,  I got the same problem.  Tried the fix offerred on the forum, but it did  not work.  Seems like the only "fix" is to buy a new pprinter --- planned obsolence?   If so, see ya HP, as I'm going to another brand.

Yup.. i have the same issue. Ink failure and I paid $350.00 for my printer and only lasted 2 years. They should offer something in return... like 50% off your next printer purchase. Or just fix it!
